The sound of a vacuum and the smell
of Fabuloso on a freshly mopped floor on a Saturday morning is pretty common at
my house. More than likely, it’s my mom causing all of that by herself. Just
like my mom, I too am a person who likes to be clean and organized when I
choose too. In my house, I am known as
the son that helps out around the house the most. I have one older brother, and
compared to my brother, I am a neat freak.
I share a room with my brother. It’s
pretty painful and frustrating to deal with that situation. I do my best to try
to keep the room organized and neat, but that just seems like an impossible task
since we both share a room. It’s pretty easy to figure out which side of the
room is mine, the cleaner side. We have shared rooms our whole lives it’s
pretty cool at times, but other times it can be annoying. Now that my brother
has just finished high school and is in college, he is considering moving out.
I hope for that to be true. I can’t imagine how clean and free my room would be
with just myself; although, it might not be what I expect, considering that
I’ve always shared a room.
Being clean and organized isn’t just
important at home. Being clean and organized at school allows me to keep track
of my assignments, and be on top of my classes. For example, my brother got
better grades than me when he was in high school. Although the grades aren’t
very far off from each other, his were just a bit finer. Nevertheless, being
neat still helps your classes because you wouldn’t misplace any assignments,
which is one of the easiest ways to improve your grade.
In conclusion, I stay neat and
organized to help me better my schooling and create a healthy living
environment at home. In my opinion, I believe that everyone should transition
into that kind of lifestyle if they haven’t already. Being clean and ordered
isn’t my only belief, but it is one of my biggest beliefs. The reason I chose
this belief is because whenever I look at my brother’s side of his room and I
get disappointed, and it’s time to change that.

ReplyDeletei can relate to your story, same problem here but this time a younger brother.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you made this story personal and it related to me because I know how you're going to feel once your brother moves out. I recommend that you should try not to be repetitive in your sentences.
